Look Whose Picture Is On This Years' Toronto Raptors Season Tickets

By Walter Dubowec

Just got my Toronto Raptors 2007-2008 Season Ticket package along with an autographed Chris Bosh 2007 Eastern All-Star jersey. Its another sign that the season is about to begin.

I’ve been a season seat holder since season number two and put up with a lot of rough years. Maybe that’s why last season was so sweet and this year promises to be even better.

This latest edition of season tickets are 'all Raptors'. They look great for any of you who care about those things.  They've come along way from the early days when Raptors tickets had photos of opposing star players. I personally hated the tickets a few years back that had ugly pictures of ushers and hot dog vendors and trainers, instead of anything Raptors related. Those may have been the worst sports tickets in history.

Not much to report with this year's game tickets other than it is interesting to see which players are featured on the face of each. Most tickets show just one player, even though a few prominently show two. The breakdown goes like this.

Photo on Toronto Raptor Seasons Tickets # Times
Chris Bosh 12
T.J. Ford 7
Jose Calderon 5
Andrea Bargnani 3
Jorge Garbajosa 3
Joey Graham 3
Anthony Parker 3
Coach Sam Mitchell 2
The Raptor Team 2
The Raptor Fans 2
The Raptor Mascot 2
Kris Humphries 1
Carlos Delfino 1
Jason Kapono 1
Rasho Nesterovic 1
Juan Dixon 1
Dance Pak Dancer 1

Clearly, Chris Bosh is the face of the franchise with 12 game ticket pictures. Bosh's face is on the first preseason game and the final regular season game. The point guard tandem of TJ and Jose combine for 12 photos. I'm surprised that Bargnani is only shown 3 times which is the same number as Joey Graham.

They did a great photoshop job on Kapono and Delfino. I swear they look like they are actual game pictures in Raptors jerseys.
Also, it should be noted that D-Mart, Luke, Jamario and Maceo are not on any game tickets.
