Chuck Checks In From Chicago
By RaptorTalk
Thursday, July 31st was Chuck Swirsky’s final official day in Toronto. Over the years, many fans looked forward to their Daily dose of 'Chuck Checks In'. From now on CCI will have a very distinctive Chicago flavour on Bulls.com.
For those who missed it, here are Chuck’s latest comments in CCI Chicago edition relating to Toronto and the Raptors.

On Toronto and Chicago
On Thursday I paid farewell to Toronto and the Raptors organization. My ten years in Canada were wonderful and educational. I appreciate the Raptors organization for giving me an opportunity to broadcast NBA ball.
Toronto is a world class city. As I look ahead to some outstanding years ahead as radio play-by-play announcer for the Bulls, I am excited over returning to Chicago. It is the best sports city in the world.
Chicago's passion for baseball, football and basketball is second to none. With the Blackhawks on a meteoric rise, Chicago is the place for sports.
On the Toronto Raptors
I am projecting the Raptors to finish second behind Boston in the Eastern Conference. I think Jermaine O'Neal will be a huge plus and take an incredible amount of pressure off Chris Bosh.
The Calderon-Ford debate is over and both should thrive with their respective teams. If Calderon goes down for any period, it will force Roko Ukic to step up and I'm anxious to see him play. As always, health is the key, as it is for every team, but good days are ahead for Toronto.
